When discussing Mike Confalone’s build, for example, we talked about what he could show that he hasn’t shown before. That’s why our preference is targeted layout construction topics not project layouts just to have yet another project layout. It has to be obviously very different and as useful as possible, not just filler to get the running time up. If the same layouts came this year as last, and there aren’t a lot of new products featured at a show, we’re not going to shoot the show again with the same content as last year just with a new date in the title. That’s also why we don’t shoot the same train shows over and over every year. We’re not going to do an annual layout project build just because - we want TMTVs content to have a lot of variety, not just the sameo sameo repackaged every year. Then Mike Confalone is doing his White Mountain branch rebuild as an MRH Store video, which is yet another build.

I will be covering my TOMA Siskiyou Line 2 build as an MRH Store video series and that will be available to TMTV viewers as MRH Store archive content, so that’s another one. We’ve done three project layouts so far, all very different. We’re not going to do a project layout every year just because. With us, a layout build needs to be something totally new. Meanwhile, TMTV will be doing more layout building drill-down topics like the turnout ballasting video, covering seldom done layout building topics in greater depth than you get on your typical project layout redos from year to year. So TMTV members will be getting more layout projects too, but as new videos from the MRH Store archive. MRH Store videos like these are not TMTV produced in this case, but TMTV members do get access to the MRH Store video archive as we add new store video titles. This all said, we do have MRH Store videos planned covering my new Siskiyou Line 2 TOMA build and Mike Confalone has a rebuild of his White Mountain branch coming to video on the store. The project layout format rehashes a lot of the same territory repeatedly and becomes a waste of bandwidth. We think that enables us to drill into specific topics better. We will cover different parts of layout building as special video segments and not always depend on the project layout crutch. TMTV NEEDS a project railroad every year.
